Cable Tensioned Fabric Canopies at Hospital | Architecturally Exposed Steel

ZHM Huawu Steel assisted with the hospital entrance canopy design during the hospital rebuild. The client wanted fabric canopies that could handle harsh environmental conditions.

Hence, ZHM Huawu Steel proposed the Cable Tensioned Fabric (CTF) System to meet budget and environmental requirements. The complex Cable Tensioned Fabric canopy design had very small radii, making both fabrication and installation much more difficult than usual.

The PVC membrane was manufactured and imported from German production subcontractor, and the steel, of course, from ZHM Huawu Steel’s main production facility.
